At VMworld 2011 in Las Vegas, I was fortunate to be in the right place at the right time — that is, having a beer with a number of fellow vExperts such as Cody Bunch (web/twitter), Sean Crookston (web/twitter), Bill Hill (web/twitter), and Kanuj Behl (web/twitter). During our conversation, Cody mentioned that he needed to take a break on hosting his popular Brownbag study sessions, and asked if I’d be willing to take it over. After conferring with my wife — let’s be honest, what family man is *really* in control of his own schedule? 😉 — I agreed to take it over.
Two things were at the top of my mind while thinking about hosting the Brownbags for Cody. First, it’s an honor. Cody is doing something that is very needed within the VMware community. He and the folks that regularly attend have built it into something awesome because it gives back to the community at large. Second, I wanted to blow the doors off the Brownbag; hopefully building upon Cody’s successes to make it something even better. The key to that would be, of course, getting an all-star lineup on week after week.
So here’s the schedule for the next coming weeks, and a hint of what’s still to come.

Thanks Damian,
Great you’re willing to take your own time and give it to the VMware community. It’s good to see you’re a family man that’s backed up by the misses 😉 I know it can be hard to explain, some things are a big chance, but take a lot of time and effort.
Again, great you’re doing this! I hope you’ll enjoy your show hosting, and I’ll be certainly listening in 😉
Greets,
Arjan
